Gift Catalogue Frequently Asked Questions

Gift Catalogue FAQ

The SAF's Gifts of Compassion Catalogue is a unique opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in need. It offers a range of meaningful gifts that you can select from to provide support to those facing challenging circumstances. These gifts can include essential items like school supplies, clothing, medical care, or tools for self-employment. By choosing these items from the catalogue, you can make a direct and impactful contribution to those who need it the most.

Each gift serves a specific purpose in improving their lives. For example, educational gifts can provide access to quality schooling and learning materials, clothing gifts ensure children have adequate attire for different weather conditions, medical care gifts help in maintaining their health, while gifts like clean water and nutrition support their overall well-being.

The process of delivering the gifts to communities involves collaborating with gurdwara sahibs and local grassroots organizations. These organizations have a deep understanding of the specific challenges and needs within their respective communities, making them better equipped to ensure the gifts reach those who require them most effectively.

You have two options. You can have us send the greeting card directly to your honouree by providing their details and a personalized message when you purchase each gift item. Alternatively, we can send the card to you, giving you the opportunity to add a personal touch, after which you can send it to your honouree yourself.

Order by November 5th for Gurpurab greeting cards.

Unfortunately, you cannot specify the recipient. The recipient is determined based on who can benefit the most from the gift. However, you can send birthday gifts to your sponsored child.

No, unfortunately, it's not feasible due to the high administrative costs, and it would be impractical to provide updates to all donors. However, each year, you will receive a general update and overview of the gift-giving program, and this will explain how your gifts and everyone else’s have helped the communities we serve.
