Taranpreet likes eating rice, and her favorite color is green. She enjoys going to school. Her father is a small-time farmer and makes about $400 a year from his farm. He is not educated himself but wishes to get his children educated so they could do better than him. The family house is shared by Taran's chacha's family as well.
