My Story

Jaskirat's father battles Tuberculosis, and his mother left out of fear of contracting the disease. Jaskirat Singh, a 2nd-grader, and his brother are in school. One uncle lives separately, while the other earns $160 per month at a poultry farm. Jaskirat's divorced aunt, living with them, works in a factory, also earning $160 monthly. His grandmother manages BP and knee pain. They have three rooms but no kitchen. Jaskirat's favorite is mango, and he enjoys cartoons. His beloved person is his grandmother, and he dreams of visiting China if he had a plane. Blue is his favorite color.
