My Story

Manjeet Kaur’s father works as a guard at Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, earning $130 per month. Her mother is a homemaker. The family lives in a single room of the Gurudwara’s old building and has no vehicle for commuting. Manjeet’s father has managed to pay for the children’s education fees until now, but he is struggling to keep up with future expenses. Manjeet enjoys eating daal, playing games, and admires her father deeply. Her favorite color is pink.
