My Story

Gurfateh’s life changed dramatically when his father abandoned the family and cut off all contact after moving abroad. Since then, Gurfateh and his mother have been living with his maternal grandmother for over a year and a half. His mother used to teach but now sews at home because her in-laws took her documents, preventing her from working. Their home, built with bricks and wooden planks, is in poor condition, and finances remain tight. Despite these challenges, Gurfateh is a cheerful child who loves playing cricket, enjoys eating vegetables, and adores his mother. Red is his favorite color.
