Low Income family
Meet Rupinder, a cheerful young boy who loves cycling and snacking on bananas. He lives with his parents and grandparents in a small village. His father earns about $195 a month by working at a local household, but nearly half of that goes toward his liver medication. Rupinder’s grandfather is elderly and only able to do occasional daily wage work, and his grandmother struggles with knee pain. His mother and grandmother stay home to care for the family. Rupinder’s favourite colour is red, and he deeply admires his father.
