Sukhraj finds joy in books and loves snacking on bananas. He lives with his parents and younger siblings in a small home. His father works as a mini truck driver in a factory, doing his best to provide for the family. But with two loans totalling $2,770 — taken for his younger siblings' medical needs — they are under serious financial pressure. His mother stays at home to care for the children. Sukhraj is especially close to her and says red and blue are the colours that make him happiest.
