Low Income family
Amanjot lives with her parents, younger brother, and widowed grandmother in a shared house with her uncles. Her father sells clothes from a motorcycle, earning around $200 a month, while her mother is a homemaker. The family has one room and a kitchen of their own, but they share a bathroom with the rest of the household. Despite limited space and resources, Amanjot is a cheerful child who adores her father. She loves eating mangoes, and pink is her favorite color.
