My Story

Anmolpreet Singh is from Amritsar, Punjab. His favourite colour is blue. He loves to eat apples and play soccer for fun. His favourite place to visit is Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. Anmolpreet lives with his parents, 3 sisters and grandfather. His grandfather is ill and needs around the clock care. They live in a small home with 2 bedrooms, storage and a toilet. There is no actual bathroom or kitchen in their house. Anmolpreet’s father works as a sevadaar for the SGPC (Shromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Comittee). The income he brings, is not enough to support the family of 6 that depend on him to provide for them.
