My Story

Komalpreet Kaur is an orphan and lives with her sister and grandparents in Gurdaspur, Punjab. Her father had was bedridden for almost two years due to a tragic accident and passed away from jaundice in 2016.  He was compensated $10,000 CAD for his accident and used some of the money towards his treatments, but he also put aside money for Komalpreet and her mother. After her father passed away, Komalpreet’s mother got into a motorcycle accident 6 months later and passed away. Komalpreet’s grandfather is now solely responsible for caring for his two granddaughters.  If you choose to sponsor Komalpreet today, you will alleviate the financial pressure off her grandfather and also help her achieve her dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up!
