Sarvreet Kaur likes to eat mangos, and her favourite color is pink. She aspires to be a teacher after her graduation. But she has already started playing teaching games with her friends. Sarvreet's father is a small farmer who makes $140 a month. Her mother stays home looking after the family. This family has faced a lot of oppression ever since Sarvreet's grandfather was shot dead by Indian authorities under a false claim in 1993. Sarvreet's family owns the small two-bedroom house.
