My Story

Harneet's father, once a 'Raj Mistri' (mason), faced a life-altering accident four years ago, that left him unable to work due to a spinal cord injury. Harneet, a determined 3rd-grader, excels in studies despite their family’s challenging circumstances. Their home, situated 1.5 feet down from the main road faces issues with water accumulation during rain, lacks basic amenities, and features a non-concrete roof with no bathroom or toilet. Harneet enjoys eating apples and playing with friends after school, favoring the color pink and dancing. Her father remains her most cherished person.
