Granthi/Gurdwara Worker
Vanshpreet’s father works as a granthi, earning $120 a month, and also performs as a Ragi. His mother sings with a Dhadi Jatha at events. The family dreamed of buying a house by selling their ancestral home, but they were cheated out of $12,960, leaving them with nothing. Now, they live in a small room with a kitchen inside a gurughar. Despite the hardships, Vanshpreet loves burgers and the colors blue and red. He has a deep admiration for his parents, who remain his greatest source of strength and inspiration.
