Parveen’s family lives in one small rented room that’s both their kitchen and bedroom. Her father works as a laborer but earns only $6 a day, while her mother battles a chest illness that has already cost them $800 in treatment. They had to borrow more just to pay school fees. With this debt and daily expenses, the burden feels heavy. But Parveen stays hopeful — she loves studying, eating apples, and spending time with her mother. Blue is her favorite color.
