My Story

Meet Harleen Kaur, who admires her mother the most. Her mother is divorced after years of constant conflict with her husband, a drug addict. Harleen’s maternal grandfather tried to help by setting up several business opportunities for her father, but unfortunately, none were successful. As her father’s addiction worsened, the tensions increased, eventually leading to a divorce. Since 2020, Harleen’s mother has been living with her parents, supporting her children by sewing and earning a living. The family also earns some income from farming. Harleen enjoys eating ladyfinger (okra) and  playing ludo. Her favorite color is pink.
