My Story

Harmanpreet’s parents’ constant conflicts led to their divorce, and her mother moved back to her maternal home with her daughter. They now live in a small quarter at the Gurudwara sahib, where Harmanpreet’s uncle works as a Sevadaar. Harmanpreet’s mother works at a hotel, earning just $135 a month to make ends meet. Despite these struggles, Harmanpreet finds happiness in the little things—like eating her favorite potatoes and spending time with her Nani. Her favorite color is green.
