Granthi/Gurdwara Worker's child
Jagpreet lives with his family at a Gurdwara Sahib, where his father serves as a Granthi Singh, earning $135 a month. He has four elder sisters, one of whom battles diabetes and requires costly regular treatment. Every evening, his parents hold Gurbani classes for children in the village. Despite their hard work, his father struggles to cover household expenses and school fees. Jagpreet looks up to his father for his dedication and strength.
