Meet Gurmilap, a young boy whose father earns $100 a month driving a motor cart. Gurmilap’s world changed drastically in 2021 when his mother, after getting a vaccine, contracted black fungus, losing her eyesight. Despite costly treatments, her eyes had to be removed, leaving her blind, the family still ows money they borrowed for her care. Gurmilap finds solace in rice and games, cherishing his loving bond with his mother. His dream is to fly to Amritsar. Green color brightens his world.
